The 8409 is one of the plainest CURRENs: a round stainless steel case, 43 mm across and only 11 mm tall, so it slides under a shirt cuff instead of fighting it. The dial carries raised Roman numerals over an outer minute track, and nothing else — three hands, no date window, no subdials. You read the time at a glance and move on.

Inside is a quartz movement: battery-run, no winding, no upkeep. The bracelet is 22 mm steel, and the watch comes four ways — gold with a blue dial, gold with a white dial, silver, and black.
