The 8403 doesn't hide its size: a 44 mm case, 13 mm thick, on a stainless steel bracelet 22 mm wide and 24 cm long with a bracelet clasp. The dial is built in layers — a red outer scale, a skeletonised centre and a bar running straight across it — with the date at 3 o'clock where you can actually find it. Three hands, quartz movement, nothing on there that doesn't earn its place.
It comes in steel with a black dial, all-black with a green bar, gold, and rose gold with either a blue or a brown dial. Water resistance is 3 ATM, which means splashes and rain. Wash your hands without thinking about it, but keep it out of the pool and away from the shower. Made in Guangdong, China.
